PHYSIOTHERAPIST (PT) Full-Time & Part-Time available.

NATURE OF WORK:
Physiotherapists assess patients and plan and carry out individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunctioning in patients. Physiotherapists are employed in hospitals, clinics, industry, sports organizations, rehabilitation centres and extended care facilities, or they may work in private practice.

MAIN DUTIES:
Physiotherapists perform some or all of the following duties:
• Assess patients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures such as functional ability tests
• Establish treatment goals with the patient based on physical diagnoses
• Plan and implement programs of physiotherapy including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, the use of electro-therapeutic and other mechanical equipment and hydro-therapy
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and modify accordingly
• Communicate with referring physician and other healthcare professionals regarding patients' problems, needs and progress
• Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other health care professionals
• Develop and implement health promotion programs for patients, staff and the community
• May conduct research in physiotherapy
• May provide consulting or education services.

MASSAGE THERAPIST (RMT) Full-Time & Part-Time available.

NATURE OF WORK:
Perform various technical therapy and assessment functions. Some may assist professionals such as audiologists, speech-language pathologists, ophthalmologists and physiotherapists. They are employed in hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, rehabilitation centres, educational institutions and in the private practices of the professionals they assist. Massage therapists may also be self-employed.

MAIN DUTIES:
• Massage therapists assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle testing and propose treatment plans; treat soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation, remedial exercise programs and client
self-help programs; provide courses of treatment for medical conditions and injuries or wellness maintenance; maintain records of treatments given; and may work with other health care professionals when appropriate.
• Physical rehabilitation technicians carry out, under physiotherapists' direction, treatment programs such as massage, thermotherapy, traction and hydrotherapy to rehabilitate injured or disabled individuals.

POOL MANAGER Full-Time & Part-Time available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pool Managers will be in charge of a pool facility and its various functions:
hiring, training, scheduling and supervising a team of swim instructors and lifeguards. Managing one of our aquatic facilities also includes coordinating activities on the pool deck with activities in the corporate office, keeping track of sign-in sheets, collecting liability release forms, logging customer requests, etc. Discipline, leadership, and time-management skills are necessary. Training will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:
Lifeguard Instructor or WSI Instructor, Certified Pool Operators liscence.
Smiles required! Background in teaching swim lessons is mandatory. Strong customer service skills needed too. Must be able to market yourself, the sport and your facility. Training in our customer service and management program is provided. The ideal person for this job will also be:
Ambitious, Self- Motivated, Reliable, Organized, Team Player, willing to go above and beyond, be able to follow directions, work well with children and their parents, computer savvy.

SWIM INSTRUCTOR Full-Time & Part-Time available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Great opportunity to work with children! Instructors teach learn-to-swim lessons for infants, toddlers and children of all ages. Opportunity exists to coach swim camps and adults at our facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
National Lifeguard Certification (NLS) and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, First Aide and CPR Certifications. Must attend Swim Venture Learn-to Swim In-service training. Must be kind, energetic and easy going. Background in swimming is preferred but not mandatory. Just enthusiasm for working with children and making a difference! We'll teach you the rest! Training provided. Lifeguard / CPR certification is required. However, classes are available through Swim Venture to certify the right candidates.

SWIM Customer Service Representative Full-Time & Part-Time available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Swim service Representatives handle swim lesson registrations over the phone and via the web. Customer Service Representatives also provide support and information to parents over the phone and in person regarding swim lessons, programs, and events.

REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills. Attention to detail and follow through are critical.
Must be punctual and dependable. Able to use Microsoft Office. Customer Service Background and knowledge of swimming helpful but not required. High School Diploma or GED with college courses preferred.

LIFEGUARD Full-Time & Part-Time available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lifeguards watch over pools at various clubs, programs and private parties. Lifeguards are responsible for overall safety in the pool, preventing accidents and injuries, and treating injuries with first-aid. Strong swimming skills required for lifeguards.

NationalLifeguard Certification (NLS)
